Hello, I found a 1998 100 series with locking rear diff option with only 131,000 miles. Drives really nice, diff lock works and generally handles great. Anything I should look for? I'm going to pull the car fax on it and see if it has had any of the regular maintenance done at dealership. Open to any help. It was pretty nice compared to my 180,000 mile beat up Tacoma.

Sounds like a good one. I'd check and make sure everything works, take a look under the hood, the steering rack, and the CV boots to check for leaks. And check under the car and the body panels for rust.

Thanks for your help guys, unfortunately the deal didn't pan out. I think the business is kind of a front for one of the cartels in Juarez, I went there 3 times to meet with the owner and he was never there so I could get a trade value. So I just spent some money on the old Tacoma, and am doing the tbelt, water pump and rear axle bearings and gonna keep driving it.

Kind of disappointed, the 100 series is quite refined compared to my ole beater 77 fj40. Thanks again!
