What mpg are you getting

It's very driving dependent. I've gotten anywhere from 6.5 to 18.

In the spring/summer/fall I've seen 18 on the highway when light footed and forced to drive ~65. We normally get 10-11 but that's real city driving (stop signs or traffic lights every 300 yards). Towing our trailer at ~65 I get about 10 (actually managed a bit higher than that this weekend even with two kayaks strapped to the roof).

In winter we lose ~10% mpg due to the reformulated gas used here. I'm happy to get 9mpg in the city in the winter; often it's worse if I let the truck idle to warm up, or if my wife does a lot of 1.5-2 mile round trips to shuttle the kids to/from school and the truck doesn't fully warm up.

I drove an 800 miles round trip to the beach.

Bumper, lift, roof rack, s*** on the roof rack.

I averaged 12.1. :)

Why you sh** on the roof? Exhibitionist? ;)

How did you achieve 6.5mpg, haha.

February in Chicago - reformulated gas, daily outdoor temps from -10F to 20F, all heavy city driving (stop signs or traffic lights at almost every block), top speed of 30mph (typically less), nothing over ~5 miles (mostly <2 miles), vehicle idling 5-10 minutes at least once per day, often twice.

Yes that's about the worst case scenario. On the plus side we rarely drive 10,000 miles per year (including a 2,000+ mile road trip), and it's not much worse than the '08 Acura MDX we had, which bottomed out at about 8 MPG under the same circumstances and called for 91 octane.

Yup, I remember looking at the MDX and seeing how poor the mileage was. What was really shocking was that the poor mileage didn't translate to blistering power.

That's OK though, convinced me to "Go Big or Go Home" and got the Cruiser.
