That is perfect for me right now.

I missed that on Slee's site.
I saw the Slee Jac-Kof & axle strap and was going to buy that.
Do you find it necessary to strap the rear axle with an axle strap to prevent the springs from dislodging?

No, the springs won't dislodge if you were to jack off the bumper, but you'd need to get that bumper way up in the air before a tire left the ground. Yes it would be faster to strap the axle, but man what a pain.. For changing flats, there's still no substitute for the ease and safety of the stock bottle jack- even with larger tires. In front you put the jack on the little rivet on the lower arm, right next to the tire. In back, you put it under the axle or pumpkin, there's still enough travel to raise the axle enough to change a tire, even with larger tires. Try this out in your garage or driveway and see for yourself. In uneven terrain, you can often create a small platform with existing rocks that's still safer and more stable than you're going to get with the Hi Lift.

Hi Lifts are great for other recovery situations, but they will always be a last resort for me.. they're sketchy, especially the ones that travel outside vehicles all the time.

I use the 60" one and mount it on my roof rack.
