found this posted on Craigslist. Women selling says it belonged to her grandfather as long as she can rember and he's always had it. I know it seems to look like one of the old miltary trailers but not sure what one. Also what would be a good price and things I should ask or look at closer. Thanks

Google will reveal all.
Start with M100 or something like it?

I'd guess a US M416 based on what the side tie down hooks look like. Older Bantam maybe. It's not a M101CDN for sure.

Offer $500. Looks to be in good shape but seriously these things are tiny. Not much better than a huge wheelbarrow. They go for premium with fan boys and collectors but that one has been cut and there are much better trailers for less than $1k.

Civilian Bantam version of M100. No brake, ball v lunette, tailgate, stake side holders inside bed, round fenders.

Maybe but the Bantam civilian trailers had three hooks on their side. This one looks like it had or has four. The center one on the Bantam civilian trailer was centered over the wheel well. Tailgate looks like it was added. Landing leg wasn't on the civilian version. The civilian use a different hitch. It was 1 7/8". Most M100 had a utility box on the front of the bed. Either they were still there or mounting holes still there. It appears to have the data plate on the front of the bed. My WWII Willys MBT has a plate in the location. The plate has a date and who made it.
