Too bad you dont have your green bastard, you could have test run it for them ;)

Kick ass man!!

guess they figured the shotty construction it would last anyway :flipoff2:

That's probably my biggest problem with doing this work... everything is temporary... And I don't build things that aren't going to last... so it's conflicting... :D

Its probably been brought up a billion times before, but why not make permanent sk8 park to the community hosting the games.. or various permanent parks city to city....

by no means was I commenting on your work, was just being...

A couple days ago I decided to climb Mt. Shasta again this year... The snow has hung around very late this year, so conditions were pretty good... I was up and down in 12 hours 10 minutes, and I hung out on the top for almost an hour...

The first 3 hours looked like this:

Go by yourself you stud?
I tripped and fell in the garden last week and was off for a week. I'd have no chance at Shasta. If I fell I'd go right to the bottom...of a crevass.:hillbilly:

Thanks guys! I'm glad I went, but I almost turned around a few times... the weather was a little iffy, and I'm not in the shape I was last year. Yes, I went alone, but it's hard to actually climb it alone, there were at least 20 people on the mountain the same day... I think I'm going to pick on some different mountains now... :D

Just got back from a few days working out in the boonies.... I took my Honda out there and managed to put a hole in the gas tank with a rock... I was able to drive to where I was going before all my gas was gone. I dropped the tank, drained what little remained, let it air out, and soldered the hole up. It's not leaking yet, and I drove it back on the same bumpy roads, so I'm pretty stoked on that... Though I think I'll buy some gas tank hole putty to keep in my car/trucks now....

I've always heard to fill the gas tank with water before welding on it.

I've also heard that some people fill the gas tank completely full of gas (if the hole is on the top or near the top on the side). No room for fumes means it won't spark and explode. Not sure I'd want to go that route personally though....

This stuff is amazing though. My folks bought some to keep in their boat after they needed it to repair their fiberglass, I need some in my truck.

Great pics! Nice work on the climb! South side? Looks like Avalanche Gulch and the Red Banks. I got denied on Shasta years ago and have always wanted to go back and attempt it again. Come on up to Hood! Its short. but steep.

Cheers, Carlos.

Well, I tagged another summit after the 45 Run this last weekend.

Not as hard or long as Shasta, but a rougher trail to climb in the dark... It took 4.5 hours to the top from the valley floor, I got to the top just before sunrise, it was sweet!!! And I got lost in the dark.... Here:

Trail went left and I went straight... Had to get out the map and compass for a minute... :D
