There have already been a plethora of small things, such as gaskets, ALL seals, thermostat, 33's, 4+Plus lift, birfeilds, fluids and a ding dong load of good old "TLC", but sitting in the garage???
ARB Winch Bumper, ARB Safari Roof Rack and the 3.16 gauge steel for the custom rear bumper (stealing designs from Mud...sorry gents, you've got some great ideas!) and custom welded sliders.
It's going to be a wonderful New Years Eve!!!!

Needed sometime during the '08 year?
Exhaust (Complete)
O2 Sensors
Control Arms
Also need some work on the driver seat and passenger seat upholstery, recovered or seat covers, I guess.

HAPPY FESTIVUS! :flipoff2: and

Apparently my truck is greedy. She wasn't satisfied with the front axle rebuild, new 100 series rotors, and brake pads. Now she wants a new radiator, water pump, fan clutch, and PCV valve. She's more demanding than my wife, but gives me fewer headaches:cool:.

Kurt- Can't wait to see the write-up for this.

My 80 got its new shoes on friday $1070 for 4 285/75/16 trxus mt's out the door with certs. tire and rim weigh 79.5 pounds
the rubber is a softer compound than I was expecting.
they are better traction hand over fist than the procomp mt but did not balance as well
It should be fun thrashing these for the next year or so till they wear out

TrXus tires rock. I have about 15K on mine and they look almost new. I'm surprised.

My 80 is taking a drive down to Slee for some sliders as soon as they come back from their Christmas/New Year's break. Probably get a transfer case skidplate while I'm there, too. I'm stoked.

New Denso OE O2 sensors from oxygensensors.com, and new thermostat, gasket and o-ring and a few interior trim pieces from Cdan, and a cooling system flush...

The stock stereo/radio is cutting in and out so new unit is on the list, that and brakes new rotors and pads all round.

Just getting the 80 was a Christmas gift for the 80. It has a pretty cool FJ40 to hang out with, and a new owner that is catching up on all the maintenance. A completely new stereo, fully functioning brakes, new wheels and tires, wiper blades, and a laundry list of other stuff to do. Putting it on a diet was the first thing in it's stocking stuffer. I removed the running boards, and trailer hitch, and today took the front bumper off to plan out the one I'll build. Hopefully there are no laws against running without a front bumper..

Hopefully there are no laws against running without a front bumper..

In Utah you won't pass the safety inspection...

Yet one of my buddies ran around without a bumper on his 92 and passed just fine... ;)

I got my Cruiser some BLING for Christmas!

1. Alpine NVE-872A GPS Navigation
2. Alpine VehicleHub Pro
3. Alpine 7" Touchscreen Display w/ Bluetooth phone integration
4. Alpine iPod interface for VehicleHub
5. IR Backup Camera

Got a great deal on some of the above used on Craigslist, and got some $$ for my old Alpine GPS (NVE-852A) which I sold on Ebay, so not as much $$$ as it all sounds.

Also, due to a recent theft/vandalism, a body shop went "above and beyond" and did:

6. Replace/paint front pass. fender flare (OEM parts)
7. Repaint front quarter panel
8. Replace front pass. glass and all seals (OEM parts)
9. Recondition and dye front seat leather

They did a great job, also nice considering the front pass.quarter panel / flare were pretty scratched up

My wife had called Santa Dan and a CDL switch appeared under the tree today. Managed to install it in the dark with a flashlight in my in-laws driveway in Spokane. After relocating my alarm light the switch installed without a hitch.
