What is your 80 getting for Christmas this year?

New suspension.

Hiya Steph!

Haven't seen you in the 80-Section in about a year. Hope all is well with you.

Which suspension are you planning? If you want to remain close to stock height then consider the "no-lift" OME replacements. If harshness is an issue (seems that it might be) then go for new Toyota springs and shocks from C-Dan. Your rig is probably over-due for all new suspension bushings too so plan for that in the project.

Good Luck and Merry Christmas to you!

Very classy, B. It's that kind of Cruiser love that keeps me coming back for more!

I thought Ed was only getting a replacement fender flare, but we got him a girlfriend. (My 11 yr old daughter informed me it was a girlfriend, and she'll be giving her a name, thank you very much!) I'll introduce you all to our new '94 Locked 80 in a different thread, but here's the skinny: It's OEM green and currently all stock, a little rust above the windshield that we'll be getting fixed very soon. A little leak on the valve cover, Code 71 intermittently, 205k on the odo, birfs rebuilt at the dealer 30k miles ago, well maintained, aftermarket stereo, 3rd row seats, interior in very good condition, rust on the tow receiver, didn't see any underneath, bumpers are scratchless, both front and rear lockers work great.

$5500

New radio, and a lighter!!!;p

I'm gonna recycle the air in the tires...

New Head Unit and Speakers.....Yeah!!!!!:D

Mine is getting a set of sliders, a warn 9000 and a custom made front bumper....oil change, tire rotation

well my 80 wants new rubber, 4 point cage, new bar, hi mount with twin motors and front a rear lockers but its getting nothing

I just pumped about $1800 into it ...it gets nothing! The wife will however get a new passenger side seatbelt. It is frayed about 1/4 of the way through...I keep telling her that she only weighs 115lbs so she only needs a fraction of the belt. I got in trouble.

This weekend it got new O2 sensors, an IPOR skid plate (that had been sitting in the garage for over a month), and I just ordered an ARB front bumper which will hopefully be delivered to my parents' house while I'm there between Christmas and new years. Good times!

Just ordered my dual rear bumper from IPOR.

Slee sliders!! Woo-hoo!!

Well, since I just spent some major $$$ on the re-gear and ARB lockers, I'm going a little easier for the holidays.

Just got a new pair of OEM struts for the hood! :)

Now if I can just stay away from the tire shops next week.....

Nothing now. An illegal Mexican hit my wife's Sienna yesterday. Now I get to fix the Loser Cruiser instead of the Land Cruiser:mad:
