I found this on the floor in front of the back seats when I was cleaning. I can't for the life of me find where it belongs.

Looks like the top clip that holds your ash tray in. Look at your center stack.

Nope. Ash tray is there.

Is it a plastic cover that snaps on the end of one of the seat rails?

My wild guess..... Something to do with the drink holders in the middle row of the fold down back seats???

Judging from the 2nd pic it could be your airbag sensor.

Joking aside did you flip over 2nd row seats and look underneath or maybe it rolled out fron under one of the front seats.

Is there any number embossed on it other than that (2)?

That is sitting on my workbench in the garage. It covers something on the drivers side seat.....right hand side, all the way down on the bottom. I can barely squeeze my hand down there, and cannot see where it goes.

Does not look important, but will bring back to dealer for my 15k service.
