What is this?

Anyone know what part of the exhaust bracket system this is from? It has a rubbery "joint" in it. Thanks.

Isn't that the bracket for the muffler bearings?

That bracket goes on the outside of the frame rail right behind the drivers rear wheel. I believe it goes just behind a body mount bracket right there.

the rear most hanger and bracket? the bracket attaches to the frame and the piece with the rubber hangs teh exhaust from it....? i think....

VT... no, it isn't the rear most bracket (that one is welded to the tailpipe).

you're right, i forgot about the tail pipe hanger, the second-to-rear-most......

Was the rear-most bracket different on earlier model 60s? Comparing an '87 to an '83. Were they the same as Lamdpimp's pics on both?
