What is this small wire connector? (1 Viewer)

This is located on PS behind plastic cover below glove box.

Looks like it could be aftermarket and perhaps antenna or gps antenna related....just kinda guessing. Can you follow where it goes?

I have something very similar if not the same. I believe my gray wire has a thick foam wrap around it too that's about an inch long. The PO had installed an aftermarket FM antenna that sits by the windshield so I assumed that cable is for that.

It continues smoothly into the factory wiring bundle. Perhaps the rear window antenna but I can’t find a place for it to connect.

Isn’t that the connector for the glovebox light? I think I recall seeing it in there on mine.

It is in my ‘01 LX. Does it have that footwell light? I know my “06 does

No idea. I just remember seeing some connectors that looked like that when researching the ambient lighting to add it to my cruiser.
