i use a huge rubbermaid about 2 X3 ft and about 6 inches deep. i slide the thing under where i am draining and the floor stays dry. the propblem i have found is with smaller containers you catch most of the fluid. since the scare with Billy i have been super careful about antifreeze and dogs...

Ok, newbie question of the day. Going to be draining the coolant and I'll begin draining from the radiator but in the picture below, is what the arrow pointing to the block's drain cock on the 13BT? If so is it alright for the coolant to empty out and splash onto the starter?

right above the starter there is a 14 mm plug, put a large bucket underneath and drain away...

The starter gets splashed with a lot nastier stuff than plain ole antifreeze. Think of what happens when you go wheeling though a freshly fertilized (with manure) field after a nice rainy day?

No it won't hurt nuthin'
