Drained the water and the 3:70s from my rear diff, added oil, 4:11s, axle bearings and seals.
Sanded the surface rust off a new-to-me hood then sealed it before a thick coat of primmer.

Replaced the radiator with a radiator barn HD 4 row, had to oval out the mounting bolt holes as it did not clear the bottom of the radiator frame. It hits the frame with the bellied bottom on passenger side where the return to the motor is, think I remember seeing a similar post in the past. Anyway an hour turned into three to get it to sit level and straight, but ready for summer now.

finished the family cage on my 1980 and installed my JimC rebuilt carb on my 1971.

Got it from Speedway Motors. It's one of their universal units. Pretty easy to deal with, just used a jig saw to cut out the fan hole. Then I riveted four of the included brackets to the side, drilled some holes through radiator cradle, and screwed on with some sheet metal screws.

Huge difference in idle temp. I drove it around for about 10 minutes then let it sit idling for about 30 and it never went above 170.

I built a front bumper/air tank to go with the Warn power plant. The compressor provides plenty of air to the 3 gallon pressure vessel. On the drivers side I have a glycerin filled gauge to show working pressure and a + and - source for jump starting jeeps on the trail;). I had it sand blasted and powder coated to match the winch. Tomorrow I will be wiring it all up using #2 ga. fine strand welding lead and running DOT push style fittings for the air connections. Two Q.D. on either side located inside of the frame mounting brackets as well as a drain plug, air servicing (fill) valve. Check out the pictures.
