Got the brake warning light wired. It was the last piece of the electrical to complete.

Drove 60 miles in it today, did pretty well but learned i like straight roads at 45 mph and hate poorly paved curvy roads.

Dial gauges are HF specials. Not very fancy.
jaegerbier, great videos. The manner in which your additional gauges are mounted looks like a great idea but I can't really see them well and have never even though of mounting them like that. Can you post a couple photos of the gauge set-up? Do you like them mounted like that?
Hi, glad someone likes them, PO installed it 20 years ago. They are very readable and all have backlight, so at night readability is much better then your speedo! You can run all the wires trough your glovebox and tie them up, very easy.

Installed some new sun visors, a new speedometer cable, and getting ready to reinstall my "barn door" tailgate. Also, installed some new hood latches and windshield-to-hood latches. Thank God for Spring Break...
Got the half doors painted finally... although now they look better then the rest of the cruiser. Sorry for the funky pictures.. it was almost dark and the flash kinda washed everything out. I went to Home Depot today and got some of that carpet on the decks of old people moble homes... don't know how else to describe it... but it's an outdoor carpet with rubber backing. I used it on my GF's half doors on her truck and they came out awesome. Going to cut it out tomrorow and get it on the inside and tops (so I don't burn my arms in the summer).
Just slapped a coat of paint on the cruiser. Really did not like the previous color. Went back to blue. That is kind of like its original blue. Cost under $100. Its good for the season.
