jaegerbier, great videos. The manner in which your additional gauges are mounted looks like a great idea but I can't really see them well and have never even though of mounting them like that. Can you post a couple photos of the gauge set-up? Do you like them mounted like that?

Waiting for time had the bright idea to show some landrover enthusiasts how it's done and took me and my weekend driven fj40 to the low gear experience here in Holland. It went really well for a first time!
Took some vids: jaegerbier77 - YouTube

Really nice videos! Also nice to hear you speaking Dutch while driving!

Hi, glad someone likes them, PO installed it 20 years ago. They are very readable and all have backlight, so at night readability is much better then your speedo! You can run all the wires trough your glovebox and tie them up, very easy.

On special request for the man who contributed the ":hillbilly:redneck:hillbilly: sound effects" in one of the videos
Those landrovers overthere were like :deadhorse:

Wow... That's like a cock pit in a Star Trek shuttle pod! :D

Just painted my 1981 with a fresh coat of the original 681 John Deer Green....

That looks really good IMO.

Installed new points and rebuilt the carb on the '76. Runs way better.

Installed some new sun visors, a new speedometer cable, and getting ready to reinstall my "barn door" tailgate. Also, installed some new hood latches and windshield-to-hood latches. Thank God for Spring Break...

Got the half doors painted finally... although now they look better then the rest of the cruiser. Sorry for the funky pictures.. it was almost dark and the flash kinda washed everything out. I went to Home Depot today and got some of that carpet on the decks of old people moble homes... don't know how else to describe it... but it's an outdoor carpet with rubber backing. I used it on my GF's half doors on her truck and they came out awesome. Going to cut it out tomrorow and get it on the inside and tops (so I don't burn my arms in the summer).
