Even though mine is a '63, I got '71 front seat frames from Valley Hybrids last year to replace the PO's car seats. Finally found a center seat back for the 1971 but it was missing the sheet metal cover so I figured something out.

Broke the steering wheel on the Rubicon (manual steering). Installed an ugly aftermarket wheel. Found a Toyota part till fill the gap on the column.

Would you be so as kind to snap a picture of the page listing the pa dealerships?
It might be missing a few parts, no idea about drivetrain, obviously has wanky long spring shackles but the paint (if it is original) looks good and with out looking at floorboards or the rear sill it looks very rust free. I wish my 40 was that clean (on the other hand no qualms about wheeling mine in the rocks since it’s just not that nice, as long as folks are not offended by following a trail of rust bits constantly falling off).Saw this old dog on the side of the highway Friday. FJ40-137918 for posterity. Pretty rough by CA standards, all indications suggest it was a ranch rig. Spotted near Eden Canyon, on 580 heading east. View attachment 4090447

1970? The body looks very original and really clean for what it is. Maybe it’s a bondo nightmare up close though.Saw this old dog on the side of the highway Friday. FJ40-137918 for posterity. I’m familiar with those shackles. My 40 had the same shackles with cracked/corroded aluminum (about to squirt out) castor correction shims.1970? The body looks very original and really clean for what it is. Maybe it’s a bondo nightmare up close though.
@Devil's Slide Doug At least by using the long shackles they didn’t have to sawzall the rear quarter wheel arches to fit those tires. Good forethought saving the sheet metal for the next owner.

Looks like a one piece hood and no gas fill cover and top mounted wipersStamped cowl vent- At least ‘72.
Good guess on 72. I was noticing one piece hood and gas fill cover.Stamped cowl vent- At least ‘72.
It is!My Jan '72, owned since '78, has a rounded upper gas fill area, not the squared off one as pictured. Is that the rare back up light of a '73 I'm seeing?
