Those auto store vac caps are notorious. Just about a month or two and they are done, serious.

The 3mm Toyota cap is a must for the small barbs. That cap looks bigger. I'm thinking it is for a float bowl vent on the Holley?

It looks great. How many coats did you apply / cans did you use? I have a very sloppy PO paint job that I’ve been thinking about working on then spraying with the spray max 2k cans to make it a little more presentable until I get a real paint job.
Everything except the hood and windshield frame. Took 11 cans Now remember I sprayed 2 k primer sealer (grey) over all my panels. Because they were raw steel or I have body work done. So if you are going the same color. You could def use a lot less.

Top and doors are on for the first time in a long while. Forgot how annoying the door rattling is, looks like weather stripping them is going to be my new winter project. Cheers!🍺

Here's a pic looking from the top down where the plug was missing in the back side of the carb.

I'd be very happy getting the correct Toyota cap.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like the best solution is a section of fuel hose, and then capping that with a short screw. Fuel hose will last longer than a vac cap. That is the solution I used for my fuel return line. I'm thinking 5/16" or 8mm as a guess for size?
