I have a new one in an unopened box that I bought from SOR 20 years ago, I'll be using it for my '71 FJ40 build.
That foam on their back degrades over time. I'd bet that thing isn't worth keeping.
Hot Off the Press! Just got this back from a local T-shirt guy during my lunch break, I think it turned out pretty good! It's a CCOT Bestop tire cover, but the design was a little tricky. I've seen this logo out on the internet, but it is usually the version that has been altered to say Specter OffRoad Genuine Parts. I've only seen the original logo one time here on MUD; the original says LandCruiser Toyota Genuine Parts. So armed with nothing but Google Translate and Word, I set-out to recreate this. It'll do for my ride

Removed the cheapo flimsy support brackets that I had previously installed as support for rear jumps seat bumpers. At the suggestion of Mark Algazy from Mark's Off Road, I installed much beefier 3" x 3" x 5/16" thick angle iron that should support most anyone who could possibly fit in that small space. They are still running into sheet metal that is spot welded. Just saying.

Eastwood two part epoxy is down. Great stuff.

Installed front lap/shoulder harness seat belts. It was a little tricky because our 1970 was not set up for that. The upper portion secured nicely to the roll bar. The bottom retractor mechanism mounted to one of the roll bar base plate bolts. (No seat belt bracket welded to our roll bar). Passenger side was more difficult because of the fuel tank and filler tube.
while i had the body upended for undercoating, i decided it would be an ideal time to paint under the dash. got a little heavy in spots but there is good coverage everywhere. painting in those tight corners/ crevices is a talent i've yet to develop - have no idea how they do it upside down

What did you have for a cage/bar? It looks like it did it’s job… although It’s done now.
