What have you done to your Land Cruiser this week?

I dont often comment on this thread but I think this was a fun activity I did this week: I registered it in the JDM car show at Laguna Seca during the Monterey Rolex Historic's, but I only did it cause show admission was half the price of general attendance for Friday and Saturday, and it comes with goodies/entertainment. And we'll fill the cooler in the back with cold snacks for the races.

All I had to do is run a hose from my vacuum pump mounted on the R2.8 to the booster.
The nip on the 5.3 is oversized and it’s annoying to have to over tighten a hose clamp. Standard sizes don’t always play nice with Metric.

The two nipples were not the same size on my application either. I bought a hose to fit the VP and made it work and seal at the booster.

There's a joke in there somewhere...

I am about to get yelled at because I just ordered a 800 CCA Optima marine battery and battery box that is a step up from this one.

I got this all set up and connected each of my inverters that I travel with and I can use them to run my mini fridges and I can keep finding other things to power up. I ordered a 5 amp twin battery maintainer that I had already set up on the truck for when I am gone from home for weeks and months and especially for winter when it sits in the barn. The big inverter has blue tooth connection to my phone so I and monitor the battery with my phone.

Arriving Friday

One of the rear wheel cylinders went and decided to dump a bunch of brake fluid over my driveway. Also the gasket between the transmission and transfer case isn't gasketing anymore. Pulled it in to tear everything down. One quick victory is new factory steelies and tall & skinny 33"s.

Also update to my jank intake setup. An air cleaner popped up on classifieds so I got and threw that on. Not happy with how close the soft fuel line is with the air horn so bit the bullet and ordered a new hard line from redline cruisers.

How do you like those Geolander A/T4's? I'm looking to get some new tires. Something that's quiet and softer ride/ for a tire at least.... I'm running General Grabbers that are basically 10 years old...

When you’re driving back to CO and find a Aqualu 45 cab along the way on FB and you rented a car.

Make sure you got the “Jackass” jump it into a pond insurance and some NRS straps.

Got my roof glued down this morning! Cannot believe how much time was invested in this one project like I mentioned before. Sikaflex 221 underneath the cap. Will let it sit until next weekend when I’ll pull it all off and start working on putting in the rivets.

Leaving in the morning on a road trip so I put both the new batteries in the truck with the inverters that I will power my portable mini fridge. I will run off of the marine battery with the yellow inverter and use the other smaller batter with the cobra 500 W as back up and can plug in the battery minder at the hotels. Will see if this works and if it does I can use in the 40 when it is road worthy. The one battery I will use to power my winch on the trailer so I have portability.
