What gear oil are you running with ARB lockers?

I live at about 5600 feel elevation and drive a lot of short trips on dirty/dusty roads, what would you suggest?

If you plan on running it for extended intervals (50k miles or more) go ahead and use some expensive synthetic. Personally I like redline medium shockproof gear oil (use it in my 400whp subaru). If you do any water crossings, or change your gear oil at shorter intervals use the cheapest gl4 you can find. I use wal-mart supertec 80w-90.

I buy big 5 gallon pails of the cheap stuff and have had no issue. No point in spending lots of cash when youre more than likely going to change it more frequently than the average person. The arb's in my 60 dont seem to mind.

You mean GL5 because gl4 is not hypoid rated.

+1 for any GL5 gear oil. I'm using exxon-mobil 75w90 from a 5 gallon pail
