what exactly is needed for a v8 SBC swap?

What exactly is needed for a basic v8 swap in an 82 fj60? at this point, I'm assuming to keep the existing trans.

Of the top of my head i can think of...

SBC motor, fully dressed
Adapter from the motor to trans
Clutch kit
Adapter motor mounts

What else?

I am putting 350 with factory trans the bell housing I have says it will hold up to 14 inch flywheel so what clutch and pressure plate do I need

man, for the work needed and cost, go 5.3 with modern fuel injection. its only a little more work and worth the effort if you can swing it

No reason to go SBC unless you already have one. There are many reasons folks moved on to LS units. The electrical "headaches" have plug-in solutions from many vendors now.

for real. I wired mine up to drive in 6-7 hours. excluding cruise and AC
