Looking for a level lift for a 1997 LX450 and have come up with the setup below. Purpose is mainly street, easy dirty roads and snow. Stock front bumper and no heavy loads anticipated.

2” springs and shocks (from MUD member)

Metaltech front 1.5” coil spacers

Dobinson 15 mm rear spacers

3” MAF drop brackets for caster correction

MAF sway bar brackets, steering damper, bump stop spacer

Questions:

Do you think this will be close to level -a bit higher in rear is fine)

Do you think the .5” difference between the 3.5” of total front lift and 3” MAF drop, brackets will be a problem for caster correction? Should I go with 4” MAF drop brackets?

Am I missing anything?

Thanks!

Hard to answer. When I installed my 50 mm TJM kit years ago, it sat level. It wasn't until I started doing bumpers, etc. that rake was affected. In my experience, what you note above will result in the thing sitting nose-high.

Install the springs, see what you've got and add spacers as needed.

Can you get the MAF brackets? I thought they were NLA?

Thanks! They have been producing them in small quantities and I happened to call one day when a set just came back from the fabricator.

With 2” springs all around don’t you want spacers to bring the front up by 1” to stay level and avoid the bug?

How do you know the rear is going to be high until you install the springs?

The member I am getting the springs from said the rear was high compared to the front when he had them in his rig.

Looks like I’m likely going with 2” springs up front and a 20 mm spacer to keep it just under 3” to match the drop bracket. Learning that I do not want the negative caster I would get with 3.5” of lift and 3” drop bracket for correction.

I abhor spacers and not sure why all the mix/matching here.

The ride quality on my tried and true 2.5" medium OME lift has been fantastic for daily driving. My only comparison as of late is the full ICON suspension stage *maxed out* 200 series I ran. Same stock load as your use case.

YMMV gl
