What do you suppose happens when you over rev the stock tach???

Exactly that, I AM going to hit over 5K with the new motor for the 60.

what do you suppose the tach will do??

Hi Mace if your putting in a V-8 you need to get it recalibrated. Any spedo shop will be able to recalibrate the six cylinder stock tach for eight, it cost me around 40 bucks 5-6 years ago (north hollywood spedo)

Or you can just put a resistor inline per Wagoneer5's thread. I have a 200ohm one and my tach is within 100RPM at 2500.

Nah, the 40 has beat that already..

the 60 gets a very warmed over 5.0
