I stumbled upon this place while hiking around Rigi last week.

Do you know the cause? Is the shock leaking also?
Don't know what caused the arm to bend, other than I tend to drive pretty fast in the bumpy stuff. The shock is not leaking but does have some oil residue from my leaking crank seal that I haven't had time to fix.

My son's buddy got stuck and my son had to work so I pulled out a Jeep.....

I didn't get any pics in the mudhole because I was driving. That was the other buddy's job and he hasn't sent me the pics yet......

What I learned was that I need new tires and I need lockers.

Oh.... and IH8MUD!

Back side of my 5 drawer/cubby cabinet just behind the passenger seat. Cabinets have also been commissioned and should be here frist part of next month. (5 cubby with slam latch doors, fridge box and bench/tool chest.

Cool looking forward to the build. Did you go with the newer large drawer fridge?

No we still have our 51 quart Indel B , works great so dont see a reason to upgrade at this time.
I also installed my Air Fuel gauge so I can start logging and start dropping pulley size on my Super Charger.

Awesome pics. Where were these taken?

I'm headed down next week with the family for spring break. What are some good trails that are only an hour or so detour off the main roads? I'll be taking 12 -> 24 from Bryce towards Moab, spending a day or two in Moab, then heading back up to SLC.

These were taken inside the Bears Ears NM. Between Bluff, UT and 95

Changed the oil on the Mighty 3FE! Only the best filters for her. None of that Thailand BS.

My son with the assist. Yes, it’s cheaper for me to have the local dealership do it but getting to spend an hour with my son wrenching on a Land Cruiser is priceless.

And after starting her up he says “She sounds like a much happier sewing machine/tractor!”

On my last trip to LA I picked up a proper matching spare wheel (straight shank washer type) for my wife’s truck. Today I took the older conical style spare and had the tire swapped to the new wheel.

I have also had 5 33” LTB swampers sitting in my polebarn waiting for wheels, so I had the conical seat wheel put onto one to see if it would inflate enough to match the height of the 285s. I’ll cut the whole trail set eventually since they’re half worn.

I’m working on getting another set of 4 conical wheels from a guy on the FB 80 forum.

Slowly but surely getting there. I much prefer a 27F but got this one as a warranty swap from Sears. This battery was first used in the second battery PS location where orientation was good but the battery was still too small for fit and amp hours. Now have a group 27 in my second location and this 34R (775 CCA) as the cranking battery. Sadly, didn’t recognize the potential problem until it happened. Next battery will be a 27F, although for now the problem has already been solved with the use of the LCP bracket. View attachment 1938696View attachment 1938697

You’re lucky there wasn’t a fire...

Wasn't this weekend but I started on a list of noises. For the last 6 months it has sounded like something was rolling around under my passenger seat or loose in the passenger door panel. Turns out it was a really old air freshener that someone stuck under my center console with some double faced tape. It must have finally came loose. It was making a huge racket under there lol. It is probably a good thing I pulled the console. It needed a good vacuuming.
