I just drilled a small hole in the center of the blanks to run the wires and the gauges have the sticky 3m double sided tape on them.

Are those Auber Instruments displays?

What do they look like in the daylight?

I put a couple of stickers on my truck. Feels like it picked up some horse power.

New battery. Trying the Maxx from Walmart.

Took a short drive up to Crum's Custom Welding to get my sliders put on. Dave is a great guy to deal with and he installed them too! Give business to a cruiser head I say. Thanks again Dave!

Waiting for mine ... he said my sliders are is next .

Looks like a Badlands winch...?

Decided to do the PCV valve.

The top of the grommet broke clean off, so naturally the rest of it fell into the cylinder head.

I pulled it out bit by bit with some bent nose pliers.

The old valve was pretty lose in the grommet and pretty full of gunk. Could have easily been causing the code it's been throwing, and the rough idle.

I went ahead and spliced in a hardware store oil catch.

Took the family up sledding at Snoqualmie Pass today off of Denny Creek Rd and got to yank a crew cab cummins dodge out of the snow that was up past the axles. No pictures... <Booooo!> As I was removing the chain from the D rings, a hiker walking by looked over my truck and said "Gotta love these Land Cruisers!" with a big grin. Yes sir, I certainly do.

The ruts on the FS roads were close to 2 ft deep most of the way and I helped several people get turned around/unstuck. The cruiser never even blinked after 10 miles of fun in that slop. The kids battered themselves silly on the slope until declaring that it was time for McDonalds. Trip concluded by 5 year old decree.

Also got to remount the splash guards/plastic undertray on my sister's RAV4 when we got home. By unanimous agreement, it was determined to be decidedly not "trail rated", as she tried to follow me for 200 feet and removed several pieces from the undercarriage due to the depth of the ruts. $15 in new mounting hardware, 10 minutes of playing humpty dumpty, and she was as good as new. Good day all in all.

Went up the bald mountain trail outside of Shaver Lake, CA. My buddy took his jeep with brand new 35 inch KM2's. We were the first group up there and there was 1-2 feet of fresh snow to plow through. Stopped at V rock to play in the snow for a little. Another group passed us while we were there and laid the trail out. We turned around short of the top due to time constraints. Had a good time. Dropping the Cruiser off monday for new VC and oil pump gaskets.

First outing with my new sticker.

Met up with a few cruiser heads for a short outing. It was really dry since we haven't had much rain. This place is a swamp most times but today just some dusty trails. We still found a few places to get stuck.

I also finally got around to painting my rims so they'll match the liner. Cant wait to see how they look on the truck but I wanted to make sure they're totally dry.

A buddy is going to do it. I would do it but it would have to be in my off time which translates to 2 weeks in the garage. I'm too busy to do any maintenance work right now. He would have been here helping me anyway.

How do you clean that ^^^?

I could not afford the cost of the self serve carwash wheeling in Flordia:eek:

Most of the car washes have signs for No mud trucks. Most of it slings out but you still have to go much slower the whole way home so the truck doesn't vibrate off the road from off balance tires. :bang:

I am in Lacey. I would like to know more about this area that you went. Good slopes for the kids sleds? Wanna find places other than Paradise/Rainer. Way to show others how awesome the cruisers are too.

not much ... added oil separator to pcv line , phh workaroud done finally (removing the hard line lower bracket bolt was what took me the longest , but its gone), and tank fillup ...
