I love that video, pretty decent CGI. Fairly certain real life recoil would shred that airframe lol. Cool idea never the less.

You weren't recently flying that thing near any Alitalia aircraft on approach were you? :D

Ran Hewitt Canyon with parents and boys. Had a blast. Hewitt Canyon Rd to 650 down to Happy Camp Canyon Rd back to the 60. A little over 7 hour day door to door. Google Tracks put us at just under 5500 ft elevation at the top which I didn't get pictures of. Also don't have any of the back side of the mountain where it was pretty interesting, hope my parents took some. Narrow, quite a drop, and rocky in parts, slow and fun. None of these pics show the fun stuff...edit...the whole day was fun.

Didn't noticed the power lines taking the pic, now I notice :bang: They didn't care though, been wanting to go "4 wheelin" for a while.

LX 450 progress

Took off flares and cladding last weekend and Durabak was applied to cover the holes. Also made a hatch cover for the rear hole (sunroof) PO put in for a machine gun mounted to the top, had a ragtop on it and it rattled bad and was not water tight, fixed for now. Will come up with a more pro solution when time permits. Also removed bumpers, sold front ARB, and am waiting to have a front Bump It Off Road tube bumper made and will most likely order a rear High Clearance Bumper from them. Anyone have one or have any experience. Then a winch, LED light bar, etc, etc, etc.

Nothing quite says "Move to the right slow poke" quite like an 80 with a Ma Deuce mounted on the roof :D

Purchased in San Antonio?

Weekend starts early this week, getting the truck ready for Round Up in Texas this weekend, fabbed an interior tire carrier this morning, did mount for the Hi-Jack to the ARB yesterday...

And pulled my neighbor's truck out after he got stuck in his own... front... yard...

True story.

Replaced the drive belts and old fan clutch with OEM stuff on my LC w/ 241k. Now she roar's on cold start up like new again. This will probably resolve my issue with warm A/C temps during idle and stop and go traffic.

Removed the running boards!!!

Got it on the semi from Cali to MI

Removed the AT drawer setup; getting ready for the next evolution of cargo organization (setup # 6,274 I think).
She sits about 1.25" higher in the back without the fridge, drawers, tools, etc...
Drove to town yesterday & the 868s weren't bad without the additional weight, albeit stinkbug looking.

True story.

I missed thee round up this weekend with strep throat. I waited all year for this event....and then got sick and couldn't go. Life is a bitch at times.

I purchased it that way....Driver hits black ice (yes in AZ) has 4 &7 year old in car seats in back. During the roll lands and slides on guard rail. Ends the journey on all four tires. Kids and driver escape without a scratch or bump. I get it, charge the battery and its drivable:hillbilly:
