Don't know anything about that truck, but if you come across another one I would buy it. PM me if you think about selling it.

Thats my kind of ugly. Its a diesel right? You did post it in the the diesel section.

Looks like it was in the middle of a full-blown riot. My money is that it did service in the sand.

It will will take some serious elbow grease to buff out. With the short bed, four doors, diesel, and likely manual it would be a great wheeling rig! Hopefully the drivetrain is intact, and some of the needed parts for it to run can be found stateside.

This is what I would do with it...Brazilian .mil Hilux tribute.

Hello,

x2.

Year range is approximately 1998 - 2004.

Quite likely it has the 2.8 diesel engine and IFS. The drive train is a little prone to break spider gears, or at least that was my experience. However, the units I drove were not assembled in Japan, so there might be an issue of local components of dubious quality.

It has lived a hard life. But Hiluxes are hard to kill anyway.

A good project rig, I think.

it kinda looks like it was a contender for the "how to kill a hilux" episode...

Obviously it's not Australian but here that model would have a 5L-E or 1KZ-TE. I'd guess it was a 1KZ given it's not white.

Confirmed that the engine is a 2KD FTV with a manual transmission
