What colour grill?

Need to paint the mesh grill on my 1979 HJ45 and need some help picking a colour.
Should i paint it black, silver or body colour (Dune Beige - 416) or some other colour?

You didn't give me the option to choose "silly frilly pink," so I chose black.

Because it wasnt black when i got it.
Someone had painted it Dune Beige (body colour) which didnt look too bad - hence the poll.

The problem with painting it body colour is that it then looks like it was painted by some prat who was too cheap to buy masking tape and too lazy to unbolt it when he painted the rig.

Now silly frilly pink, on the other hand, will solve the above problem AND make it look like you had it painted in St. Kilda - which could be cool.

Is it just me, or is painting the grill mesh a serious pain? It's hard to blast the old gunk/paint off, and hard to get the paint onto the mesh, instead of flying through the mesh and disappearing.
