Been a busy week with a couple interesting car projects
1. Rear passenger door lock stopped working altogether, I had replaced the motor 2 years ago so didn't think it was that. Took a chance (didn't do any further testing) and got a $40 used OEM actuator assembly off eBay....Success!!
2. Thursday night got the cruiser fully loaded up w neighbor and family and crank no start..... thank goodness for Alan and this mud community. Alan has had same issue in the past. Figured out it was an immobilizer issue caused by bad terminal in the fuse box going to the efi relay. Got to bring out the power probe to test that the relay was good and got it working again for now. Will work some more in the future for a permanent fix.
3. FJ62...got cooling pipes installed and welded up two big spots in the driver side footwell. Happy with progress but man not excited for more repairs I need to do on the other side.

Looks nice!

Initial review, how do you like it?
I like it a lot. They're made for the 70 series so you have to drill new holes in the mounting plate. It took about 5 minutes. It does make the cockpit feel a more cramped but I think it's worth it. Especially on long rides. This should really reduce some fatigue when you're driving for 18 hrs. I wish I could figure out how to add a 100 series armrest to an 80.

Funny. I had space in my luggage on the way back from trip so I have one of those 12 packs in my fridge
I have one bottle left :(

Framing starts next week and trusses will be in too. Gonna look like something.

Get ready, I will be wanting to cash in on some favors!
Already on my mind
