Got my trailer built and ready to start the camper build portion.

Started with a base harbor freight 4x8 then upgraded the axle(3,500lbs) wheels,7pin electrical, added shocks, fully welded to a 5x8, lock n roll hitch.

Thank you to @captainva for letting me use his welder.

Start of things to come for the FJ40. 60 series axles 38mm split xfer case and transmission and some body parts. Thank you Rob for the parts and help loading. Thank you to Eric (friend of mine) , who is also on the hunt for a landcruiser.

Good Start Chris. I can not wait to see how it turns out.
 
Thank goodness for quick response fire department. Let my younger sister drive 2 min back from the beach while I biked and she locks tiny kid and keys in the car....Toyota anti theft auto locking system made it extra tricky. So thankful it wasn't that hot and no harm done. Little nerve racking....

O my gosh glad end was able to act quickly and nothing happened.

Wait till you have to break it then its the gullwing ;)
 
Glad it all worked out. Hide a key! Hope the hood held up with that guy up there on it... Also always try the pass side door first. That way if you break the window it does not get all over the drivers seat. Those air bags that pump up and the wedges are great to help get the tool in there to work the levers.
