What are the two plastic trim pieces that snap on and off? In this picture that are on the middle lower portion on the seat bottom between the two floor hinges?

See the corresponding holes in the floor with the heavy bars bolted across them, where the seat bottom latches into? They cover those up.

I reckon they cover the bar on the floor that the seat latches to when you tumble the seat forward. Got em on the third row as well. I don't use them, but I totally could if I felt like it.

You seriously at some point need to read your owner's manual.

SRKPaco - as the first two posters pointed out, those two covers can be removed from your seat and placed over the correspondingly shaped holes in the floor.

TrunkMonkey must have gotten up on the wrong side of bed this morning.

Thanks guys, use my cargo area a lot with the seats folded up but never have the need to cover the bar where the hinge locks.

And Trunk Monkey, you are always helpful with advice, I thank and please do not stop but I am not going to pull out my manual every time I need something, I like talking with people and thought that was what this site is for. Plus some things are not in the manual and I like hearing peoples personal advice and experiences.

Well said I will read it once. I feel I do contribute, every time someone asks for something and I feel I have knowledge about it I share anything and everything I know, I have even offered for local guys to borrow tools and equipment at no cost.

Not sure if it was a typo but what did you mean when you said "buy a star"?

This site is for sharing information, for the amount of info you've gotten you should consider contributing and buying a star.

Good advice, I'm surprised by how few "stars" I see on here. It's like $20, or about 1/3 tank of fuel in your 100. Pay up, suckas.

It's not every time you need something. Read it once, just once. This site is for sharing information, for the amount of info you've gotten you should consider contributing and buying a star.

Thanks for the heads up, just bought a star, now what to name it?:p

Cool, didn't know that star's existed, I will look into as a thank you for all the members help.

Thanks.
 it's the first thread in EVERY section on MUD...

[Boss Hog] what we have heeya, is a failya to cahmoonicate[/Boss Hog]

Enjoy the star, Mud is much better without ads, etc.and Woody's a stand-up guy!

I think the basic idea of the the seat latch-bar covers is to attempt to keep junk from falling in that you'll just have to fish out later. Or you may not notice something fell into the hole and then it gets in the way of the mechanisms latching properly the next time you fold the seat back down.
