Trying to decide if I should powder coat my stock rims or just bite the bullet and buy new wheels. I can powder coat for ~100 each and I'd be without my daily driver for about a week getting it done. Just curious how much of the new wheel cost I could realistically offset by selling the OEM wheels. Maybe option 3 is a can or two of plasti dip...

Classifieds would be the place to research this.

The 2013 Factory rims MIGHT get $300 for the set without tires and $500 for the set with stock size tires. They're not all that popular. There are several Tundra rims that are more popular around here that can be had for $200 for the set of 4 on Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace. (Tundra alloys and LC rims are the same exact specs) I'd hit them with a good clean and spraypaint or plastidip, and save your dough for a new set of rims if that doesn't scratch your itch. $100 each for powder coating doesn't even get you lower offset, lighter weight, or a more desireable 17" rim... Just a different color.

Somewhat of a sidenote: The LC has so few styling cues that really shout that it's something different or special. The wheels, proprietary to the model, are one of those very few subtle cues. Though a pretty simple design, they are just for the LC and as such I think they are a critical part of the look of the car. Surprised they're not worth more, maybe I'll get a second set for snows!

I think I got $250 or $300 for all 5 of my 2015 wheels with stock tires (30k miles on them).
