I am leaning towards this rack for the GX, I was curious what the general consensus is on these compared to everything else on the market? How's the fit and finish, build quality, customer service, etc.? I like their wind deflector design and height of the side rails from the roof line in comparison to the others. I wish they offered free shipping like literally every other manufacturer, $200 seems a tad excessive.

Seems really close to the roof, very low profile (based on pictures on their website). Just be sure you have enough clearance for your accessories.

The only things that would likely ever be up there are cases, possibly MaxTrax from time to time and the occasional kayak.

I looked at those as well and was turned off by the shipping. Ended up with a Victory 4x4 rack. It does its job. We have a Prinsu on our 200 and I honestly do not see much if any differences in quality. Have not used the Prinsu and probably won't, but it looks so much better than the s***ty basket that comes on the HE. 460 rack will also only see MaxxTrax or a spare.

I never got around to putting a rack on either of our 200's but the new owner of my old LC went with a Prinsu. I had a Rhino Rack on the last GX but I want something lower to the roof line for less wind noise and better side profile aesthetics and Westcott has the best solution for that. I am definitely turned off by the $200 shipping when others offer it for free most of the time. It might just be something I have to buck up and swallow in the end.

Another perk of a low rack are short parking garages and if you do the auto carwash where you drive yourself through. They usually have a pretty low clearance.
That's why I went with Gamiviti. Although from what you're stating, it may not be the style you're looking for. The Gamiviti is more of a safari tube style, like you'd see on a Camel Trophy Land Rover.

General rack question - are these suitable for attaching Thule ski/gear boxes?

I like what Gamiviti makes and his customization options but the style isn't for me aesthetically.

if you aren’t in a hurry to get the rack, wait til their Black Friday sale. Might help you offset the shipping cost. Or you might decide you don’t want it at all. (Wait 2 months to mod your rig said no one…EVER!)

I got one but I haven’t installed it yet as free time and the rain forecast haven’t aligned. All the parts look good. The hardware is nicely packed/organized. Their customer service is great. I got sliders from them and sent some questions via email after purchase and they responded quickly. The shipping was a lot but I got sliders too (350 or something… I ordered a long time ago). They pack stuff very well. They have a YouTube video about their packaging. The use some vendor to make custom packaging to prevent loses from shipping damage. I agree their rack looks the best out of all the other options. I’m just one person and I haven’t installed mine yet but they appear to be running a very tight ship. If you like the design I can’t report any reason to avoid them.
