Can anyone who has the Westcott Designs roof rack share detailed photos? I’m trying to build one for my GX460 black line edition.

It attaches to the oem rails via 6 T-Nuts on each side. You just loosely install them on the Westcott rack in the pre-drilled holes, slide the whole thing into the existing rail slots and then snug them up. Hope that helps.

Thank you! This does help. Unfortunately the Prado rails they put on the GX black line do not have the slot that your LC does. I’d asked Westcott if they’d build me a custom rack but they declined. How is the fairing attached?

The fairing came attached to one of the crossbars, and then it is just attached to the rails at a 45° via the pre-drilled holes. Note in the previous pics that the first and last crossbars are on edge presumably to add stiffness. It's a simple and well-designed rack from what I can tell.
You can source 80/20 T-Slot aluminum and build your own, I bet. I think @tbisaacs posted about something like that a while ago.

Thanks again. For my use, it’s an ideal solution. I have no need for a full length rack, nor do I find the aesthetic appealing. I sold my TRD Pro 4R for the GX, and the roof basket on the ‘19+ Pro worked really well for my needs once I added 4 more crossbars . The Westcott design is the closest to that type of setup, albeit different aesthetically.

Home made. 1/4" Aluminum on the sides, front and back fairings are 3/16 and attached to 1x1 8020 from Tnutz.com. Crossbars are 1x2. The whole rack attaches to slots on the factory side rails with T-nuts like the Westcott. Not sure how you would adapt to your unslotted rails.

That looks really good. The rails are tripping me up. I don’t want to remove them and risk leaks, but can’t fathom why Toyota would use this design for the Prado.
