West Side / Fort Worth Group

I know there are a few folks on the west side that find it too far to drive to the NE side for a meeting. We have had a few folks express an interest in getting a west side meeting going. Please post up if you are interested and we will see what we can get coordinated.

There has also been talk about setting a weekend meet up occasionally (during good weather months) so that more people can get together. Stay tuned.

I'd like to try to keep the Thursday evening theme if we can. I was thinking meeting at In and Out in Lake Worth would work. Fairly centralized and plenty of parking. Open to suggestions, if anyone has a better one.

Man, we missed you on the East Side, I really figured you'd have a crowd over there!

Sorry I didn’t get to chat with you, it’s been a long while. I told the fam we’d go out to eat at a specific place so we had to scoot fast.

So, lets try this again! I really want to get a west side group going, and I'm totally open to suggestions. The east side meets on the second Thursday of the month (10 Feb this month), and I wouldn't mind sticking with that if there is enough interest. If that is not convenient, please offer up other suggestions. 7pm also gives time to get home from work before headed out, but again, I'm open to suggestions.

I think the Spring Creek BBQ in Lake Worth (6701 Lake Worth Blvd) would work well. There is lots of lighted parking, and plenty of room inside to meet for dinner first. I think it fairly centrally located, but if there are better ideas, lets air them out.

So...thoughts?

Jason, I'm totally open to suggestions. The only "no" day for me is Tuesdays, but I'm only one guy. We could even do a different week. I'm hoping to get some buy in that folks will show up. I don't facebook, so maybe I'm not the best guy to head this up.
