CRUZAHEAD
Family and I decided to take a drive up to the high sierra mtns for a camping trip after a couple of days of thinking where to go. Originally, I wanted to hit up a trail around the same area, but the snow level is still pretty high, so I settled for a mild snow wheeling trip up to Wenthworth Springs Rd. off of Ice House Rd. We camped out about 5 mins North of the Wentworth Springs/Rubicon Trailhead. For those of you wondering how it looks up there at the moment, there is still plenty of snow. The snow on Wentworth Springs Rd provided enough mild wheeling for it to be a fun trip for family.. Night time was well, cold.. During the day, it was a different story, beautiful and warm; hot at moments.. We also met a fellow mudder/cruiserhead while driving back on Ice House Rd. He was driving a red Fj40, so we had to pull over and say hi. Well here are a couple of pics of the trip, can't wait to get back soon when the snow is gone, middle of May sounds good..
