That was awesome Ty! Your crossing I believe has some "moving" water so 80's may float but where will you come out on the other side? Maybe back at Russ's house?? ;p

I'll go with the large ones! :D Ah screw it, give me a dozen of each! And I'll bring some extra ice!

What am I doing? Well browsing mud.
What should I really be doing? finishing work.
What do I really need to do? Pack for the weekend!!!

Anyone want mar-far Miley for dinner Sat?? She's coming too!

This 'n that

Been busy working on the Green Machine. The auxiliary fuel tank selector valve needed replacing. I'm attaching a photo to show my progress. (the shiny one is the new one!) It's still not working totally correct, but I'm making progress.

In the mean time I hurt my knee working on sheet rock repair at the son's house in Lincoln, CA. Guess an old guy needs to take it easy. Don't think I can tolerate the long ride coming up this week. I plan to see you on the 28th at the wrenching party. Have a good time. :bounce:

I will be leaving Brookings (and all this stinking rain) this morning around 10:00. Will drive straight through except for short breaks. Should get to the claim mid afternoon. Looking forward to some sunshine and seeing you guys. Sorry that Ed, Aric and Travis (who were there last year) won't make it.

Even though I'm only going for one night, I realized I take the same amount of crap if was for three days. Me and the boy leaving around 10:30. Miley will have someone to play with.

Just got back from the trip. It was great had to leave a day to early, so that sucks. But other then that I can't wait to return. Russ the oysters were fantastic. It was good to see old friends and make new ones, can't wait to see the pics. My pics suck, but I will post the video of crossing the creek.

Ed, knee pads, hard hat and one of those big rubber Sumo wrestling suits should be sufficient! That way if you feel yourself falling you can fully commit to it and just stand back up on the "bounce". So much easier for us older folk to exhibit some "style" while working...!!:p

I don't suppose those oysters ever come complete with shiny pearls do they?? :hillbilly:

Home :) GREAT trip. Uploading pics now.... Weekend went by WAY too fast :/. I decided not to BBQ miley so she's home sleeping now as well.

And another meaty ball of snot bites the dust!! :popcorn:Daphne wants to know how many people had water come in their doors crossing the river?? :bounce:And Russ- were you forcing those kids to eat slime?? :p

Wish we could have joined you guys.
