Hey 71Cruiser71-

I would offer to do it - but I am not comfortable welding suspension or steering parts on other peoples rigs for safety concerns. I would leave that to a professional.

You really want someone who knows their stuff when it comes to welding suspension parts. I would check the yellow pages-there should be a few mobile welders in the Elsinore area who could do it at your place or are close by-

If I can help you out in any other way- don't hesitate to drop me a PM.

If I ever break down in So Cal, I guess I better bring my own welder.

Dan,

I have a welder (I've been known to use it from time to time) and you can use it anytime brother!! But if you are breaking Don's work, I think you will have bigger problems on your hands

Thanks

I will rely on you to fix what I break of Don's work (FC Fabrication) since I would be in the hostpital or buried in the ground.

I think what I am seeing here is that you really need to go to a professional welder. People will weld critical components for their friends but are wary of doing the same for those they really don't know. Suspension and steering are critical components of a vehicle and lives are at stake. If you are not comfortable with what you have installed you probably should go to a professional welder.
I can melt metal ok but when it came to my steering and front suspension I had friends who really could weld do it.
