Hey all, i recently purchesed a 4 inch lift kit and shackle reversal from man-a-fre. i put it on but only bolted the reversal kit on for now. luckly i only bolted and not welded because i did not get the measurements right. so i would like to get this welded up with the right measurments. only i dont know how to weld or dont own a welder. im moving to nor cal after the new year and i wouldnt really feel safe driving all that way just having it bolted on there.

So i was wondering if anyone here in so cal can give me a hand helping me with welding this up? im not the richest person in the world (i really feel like the poorest) but i am willing to pay for some help (im sure something fair can be negotiated). im guessing it might take a day or less idk... but if anyone has time and knows how to weld, who feel likes helping out. let me know, that would be fantastic.

im located by lake elsinore of the 15 freeway but am willing to drive, closer the better but not a big deal.
i also understand that the holidays are here and many of us are busy so anytime after new years is really good for me

Ps wasnt really sure what section to fit this in but i guess this will work. oh and here is a pic just for fun

How much welding is involved? If you can't find anyone closer to you and you're really desperate, I'm about 1 1/2 hours away. I have a friend with a shop in Diamond bar that's a little closer to you, but not by much. I'll be out there this Saturday for a few hours working on some stuff, if it's not too much welding I don't think he'll mind. The only problem is I'd be a little hesitant to weld someone else's rig, I'd just feel really bad if your spring hangars fell off on the I5 somewhere.

DomSmith lives near you as well as Temecula Tim. They have bothe been doing a ton of work on thier FJ's. I don't know how good either one of them weld but you might want to send them a PM. They may know someone local to you.

I don't live in Elsinor, I don't weld, and I don't know anyone in Elsinor who does weld, but I thought I'd chime in anyways. Hope this helps.....

I'm still  at everyone messin with you,but if you make it this far north I'd be glad to help you out.Use grade 8 bolts, have to be as strong as rivets?

I have a welder, but do not know how to use it yet. :)

ANY welding shop should be able to help you out... I had mine welded here in Highland (San Bernardino). I can give you the shop info if you want it. (Don't have it here with me right now)
