Lots of good trail ride places. I sell real estate, so I wheel daily just trying to get into some of these places. Between tank traps, kelly humps, overdone water berms and downed trees and brush, it's the main reason I got the 40 in the first place to save wear and tear on my pickup. There's a group of various wheelers here that go and do some pretty serious stuff, but I haven't had the chance to tag along yet. Pretty much snow wheelin from here on out. We've got about 3 to 4 inches on the ground now with a really nasty layer of ice underneath from that freezing rain we had about a weak ago.

New to the forum

Hello from the Blue Mountains!! We have snow here and would'nt you know I have troubles with my fj60 88'.


Anyone know of some good mechanics in the area?

It is an automatic and the shifter is super loose not enabling it to shift??

Any help would be appreciated.

New to the area from PHX so I'll look forward to meeting up in the spring for some runs.

I have not had her off the pavement except for some mild camping in north of Post Falls so I'm looking to get her a little dirty!

Yes, but if I were you, get used to wrenching on it and get to know it's quirks and the ins and outs of its design. They are very simple to work on. If you'd like help, let me know I live on the north side.

Cool thanks! I plan on doing as much of the work on it as possible. Some of the major jobs I may need to outsource due to lack of tools, knowledge and garage space.

Very cool ,been wondering if anything cruiser would start up around here! Brett here in Post Falls fj60 junkie:bounce2: and my wheelin buddy Jay who has a built 80, a supercharged taco & getting ready to build a 40! Good job on this Aron!! Could't believe it when I saw the Spokane site :beer:

Hey Kiffer, I've been offline for about 6 months after my puter imploded. Been back on the net for about a week and found this by accident really.(lurked on mud for long time) but didn't know this "Spokane Land Cruisers " was even here. Been getting all the little leaks etc. fixed up on the wagon. As soon as we can we'll let u know & we'll for sure do some wheelin!:steer:
