We did Capetown through Tanzania to Kenya last year. We used a 70 seriesJust joined . Encouraged by the huge amount of useful information, I can't think why it has taken me so long.
Preparing now for a 6000km round trip from just north of Cape Town (South Africa) up through Namibia to it's very northern boundary with Angola . The interesting part starts at St Nowhere camp (yes, it is in the middle of nowhere) and up along the fabled Skeleton Coast to the Kunene River mouth. From there , across the dune fields and Hartman's mountain range and heading back south through Kaokoland (and that is right at the end of nowhere !).
A few days after that will be spent enjoying the wildlife of the incomparable Etosha National Park before heading home.
Last year we were just to the east of this route experiencing the Van Zyls Pass and Marienfluss, words cannot describe that area, come and see for yourself.
