Next weekend is too close for me, anyways while your all out there trail riding I'll have a present coming in the mail from BIO next weekend. That and I made a deal with the devil,I mean wife , to get both bumpers and rack b4 October camping trip.

Hey everyone. Been hanging out on MUD since I got my very first LC almost 3 months ago. It s a 73' FJ40.
I've been messing with ever since I got it and this damn forum is costing me a fortune in the process and I am sure the rest of you will help hurt my wallet even faster!

Here is the only pic I have right now which is one from the PO but it will have to do until I come back from vacation. It's also in my garage in case it doesn't come up right. It is missing a few tidbits that I have already added that I will be happy to show off at the meeting at Andolini's in a few weeks and I am planning on adding a bit more since it still needs to be finished in many ways.

Thanks and look forward to meeting some of you guys in a couple weeks.

It's good to see you in the Cruiser club. I have known Chris for abut 15+ years. He his a good guy and has a Custom Home Theater business. Does clean installs and has some really high end stuff.

Thanks guys. Looking forward to meeting everyone as well. It was fun and iritating to come back from being gone for 12 days. Fun because I had boxes oh goodies to install on the 40 yet after 12 days of sitting I couldn't get the damn thing started for about an hour last night!
Hopefully I can get all the stuff I want to put on done by saturday next week!

Sorry to hear about it being hard to start. It always was but one small shot of either and it cranked up first time every time and was great. I attribute your pain to my crappy carb/rebuilding skills. Hopefully you can get a new one or it rebuilt by someone who knows what the heck they are doing. Hope to meet you all some time this year.

No worries. I let it sit for 20 and it was fine. Already have a new carb but wonder if it is something else that I'm overlooking.
Frankly I can deal with that as I'm having fun getting barn doors installed and the soft top. It's coming together.

I'll put up a new thread with pics of all the goodies she is now sporting.
