The cards are working....two contacts this week responded.

The first is a Bob Baker...89 Land Cruiser that someone carded in grocery parking lot....

Other is the young guy named Colin Berly at Smokey Oak Taproom in the Land Cruiser with blueberry bumper....

Invited both to the forum to introduce themselves and also maybe for impromptu visit at Bessingers since our next get together is the trip to Uwharrie next month.

Very good. What model and color is the 89' Cruiser?

Jeremy Holt

2007 Tacoma with 2.5" lift using Bilsteing 5100 shocks, and 315/75/16 BFG MT's. Did a little surgery inside the fenders and chopped the body mount.

Live in Cola, but drive to Charleston once a week.

looks awesome

look good jeremy...even with the suicide door on drivers side that opens both ways. :)

See you went with the old school BFG Mud Terrains.... truck looks great though except for that orange turd on front. :P

Thanks, still have a long way to go, but we all have to start somewhere. I need UCA and a bumper/winch before the spring wheeling season. Will have sliders next, but not before URE. I'll be aight. Don't care if the running boards get ripped up as long as they don't bend up into the the body.:bang:

The door is fixed thank you very much. Just so everyone knows, the body mount chop is a MUST on anything over 33" tires on these Taco's and FJ Cruisers.

Welcome and glad to have you. No worries if you don't have a LC. Heck, we allow a guy to be apart of this club in a Lexus. That's how low we have sunk.:)

Hey Joel!
Glad to see you made it over here! gotta pry yourself from the clutches of the wife and come hang out sometime.
hows the oil pan install goin??

Just got her back from Glenn yesterday :D Oil pan has been installed, all fluids have been changed, got a new set of breaks up front, and ordered a new starter that I'll put on this weekend (let me know if you wanna come by for a beer and the install). Unfortunately I wasn't anticipating all the break work, but it needed it, and she's back on the road, so Im by no means complaining. Down side is, it doesn't look like I'll be able to go in with you right now to pick up that wrecked Runner on Johns Island :crybaby:. However, on another note, Im selling my wifes Jeep and will be in the market for a 3rd Gen 4Runner soon. Need something to hull the family around in, and the Jeep wont cut it.

Glad you got the oil pan buttoned up. did you get a new plug / gasket too, or did you end up cutting down that way oversized bolt i gave you??

that is a bummer on the 4runner man....we need parts!!! maybe she will come down a little if no one is interested.

Give me a call and ill come help you out with the starter for sure...or at least watch you do it whiles i drink in your honor.

I guess even I have you beat on that one Pat. I do get down to charleston and see the gang every great once in a while. But then I only have a 100 mile ride not like the half way around the world you would be dealing with.
