To the Swamp Fox Land Cruisers (SFLC). We are a small group of Land Cruiser lovers that share a desire to not only wheel and work on our beloved steeds, but to also participate in club events. Those events will vary and include such activities as club meetings, wrenching events, camping, canoeing, community involvement, and of course wheeling our beloved Land Cruisers. The club was created at request of a couple other Land Cruiser members that wanted more than an internet presence...they wanted to be part of something with activities and involvement by all. I had hoped to wait until Summer to start this but after a couple strong requests...decided to move forward even though I wont be done with classes until June.
Stay tuned for a calendar of planned events for 2011 and notification of our first meeting with date, time and location to be announced soon.
Two must do activities that will be on our schedule for 2011 is the May 2011 GSMTR hosted by Upstate Cruisers and the September 2011 Cruisin Carolina hosted by Olde North State Cruisers at Uwharrie National Forest OHV.
I currently drive a 100 series (LX 470)...that is work in progress but hoping it is my last version for a while after starting with FJC...and then getting my FJ60 from my dads property in Piedmont and after a year deciding I was putting too much time and money into it after it sat for almost two years with little driving....so now ShermanFJ62 is her owner...and I have the DirtyDiva instead. LOL
Thank you again and please PM me if interested in talking about what we have planned and how we will conduct ourselves as Land Cruiser enthusiasts with a focus on camaraderie and fun.
Happy Cruisin,
Brock
