My LX is having this weird shimmy in the wheel when cold it will be so aggressive sometimes you can physically see the steering wheel vibrate. There is some mild camber wear on the inside and some slight feathering on the outside on the driver front tire. The ahc also has that weird lean in this one corner. I also noticed very rarely you will see/feel the front end just drop a couple inches suddenly. This is an intermittent issue as well. There is a mild shake in the steering wheel once it's warmed up.

I love the truck so does my wife but this is making me want to trade it in as soon as possible on a facelifted LX.
Any help is greatly appreciated I am at a loss and have no idea what is going on at this point.

I assume you’ve had the tires balanced and front end aligned. The shimmy and vibration could also be a bad tire. Have you tried putting the spare on the DS front, or moving that tire to the rear to see what changes?

Someone else will need to chime in on the AHC issue, but that could be related if you have a suspension problem. Have you checked for a leaking shock?

What year and miles LX?

I am gonna go to my buddies shop and rebalance the tires sometime this week. That was our thought that the cords may have broken etc. I have not rotated the tire as I just had them balanced but it was with a s*** machine. 2013 LX570 with 100xxx. There is no leaks or anything from the struts. I take meticulous care of the vehicle it's not abused at all never been off roading.

The suspension dropping thing kinda freaks me out honestly no idea why it would be leaning or just drop an inch etc randomly.

Here’s the sticky thread on AHC. Lots of posts, so might something useful in there.

Thank you sir I have been looking at that and have really dug through the site. I have not seen any mention about the suspension just dropping. I 100% could have missed it though and will take another look at the ahc thread you posted. Your help is greatly appreciated!

The suspension behavior is somewhat normal. AHC often readjusts after stops, etc. The lean, however, is not normal. It's worth checking the AHC sensor to see if it has loosened or moved from it's original position.

I definitely recommend checking balance as it's a usual suspect with a steering wheel shake. Swapping the spare would be a good first course of action to see if it corrects. If so, get the offending tire re-balanced. If not, time to dig a bit deeper.
