is there a how to ?
The grease zerk in question is the one on the driveshaft slip joint. Super easy to get to as long as it’s pointed at least sort of down. Probably takes a 10mm or 12mm socket to unscrew it. You can see it in photo 5 of your first post.

Excellent, thank you - will do today.

Appreciate it, friend

How old is the grease you're using? I've had some grease that was around 1-2 years old that started to separate even in the grease gun (that I left in the garage - lots of heat/cool cycles to help the seperation along). The stuff that came out of the end looked "fine" but definitely wasn't as good as the new tube I swapped in there due to the separation.

I think there's a thread explaining how to remove, mark, and reinstall your driveshaft. I think in the same thread the guy actually removed a zerk and did some suspension articulating stuff to make the driveshaft cycle to help the grease get "pushed" out with limited success. Keep us posted what you find.

You mean sort of like post #15 in this thread?

Does any one remember were the cool box drain dumps out? I thought some else had an odd leak like this and it turned out to be coffee or soda spill.
Its also a quick and easy inspection before you start pulling parts.

Definitely good to know in the future. Cool box is clean, nothing in there :)

well mechanic (who specializes in Lc was no help)

“Ryan - your LC is a POS. Why dont you have a 16+? Next time, please take it to Care Care Nut- I dont want this Highlander here lowering my property value………. looks like the water is from the hallow driveshaft. Water may get in during off-road. I don’t see anything leak. So you’re ok. I will grease the Zerks and you can pick up”
