Hi All,
I am not familiar with the platform firsthand, but my daughter bought a 2004 GX470 somewhere between OKC and Tulsa and is in a process of moving to Green Bay, WI staring Thursday. All I know from her texts that the vehicle is at around 192k miles, she had to take care of the radiator leak and the front brakes; one dealer inspected and found a huge amount of work to do from the front axles to the valve cover gaskets and what not else, yet missed the leaking radiator which was pointed to her by a second opinion dealer who skipped all the previous recommendations and fixed what they found: the radiator and the front brakes. Naturally, she has this trust issue and yet scared of potential catastrophes, etc. She is not a gearhead.
The question this comes down to is what must be done right now and what could be done upon arrival to Green Bay? But who does she trust in there?
Indy fellers or reputable dealers are fine. She will have to pay for her lessons somehow. She is in Lawton, not too far from Oklahoma City.
Thank you in advance.
P.S. Kids nowadays

Updating my findings:
I found Mr John McInturff (MasterTech Automotive, Oklahoma City) (405) 787-8324 in an old post. He wasn't referred as a specialist, but enjoyed stellar reputation and customers' trust.
Mobile mechanic Craig, (405) 305-2184 - did quite a few TB jobs around there (Oklahoma)
