Weird clicking noise from the engine

wife was at idle while I ran in the house to grab something and I noticed that the land cruiser at idle has intermittent clicking noises coming from the engine... I have never heard this before the SUV is a 13 and has 45,000 miles and all maintenance has been done...

Any ideas as what may be causing this? I have never ran into this noise before?

Was the engine warm or was this right after start up? If possible get a video and upload it here, but most likely nothing to worry about.

Interesting. My mpg has gone so far down sometimes I'd get 400kms out of a tank full and that's with the gcc dual tank. So far it seems to be feul related as we've had some contamination of high sulfur with a fuel supplier. I'm just grateful all I suffered was blocked cats and very poor performance. The higher end vehicles (BMW. BENZ etc) are having fuel injector problems that lead to cylinders losing compression and engine replacements. Problem is if you run a batch of bad fuel other issues would be hidden
