I broke my tent out tonight to get it ready. Found my MSR stove and Mountain Research bag, and all my old backpacking gear. I'm super excited for this. The wife agreed to come along too.

Well in that case, Bourbon is my middle name. I'll bring a bottle of firewater to trade drinks for your thighs.

Truth. That beer has knocked me out and stolen my lunch money on a couple of occasions. It always seems like such a good idea, and is so tasty though.

Maybe Eric M will join us and bring a jockey box?

So I'm kinda seriously thinking about a 12v heated blanket...

I know that's not really being a cold weather camping purist, but man it'd be so cozy, and in the future my dogs would love having that in the cargo area to sleep on.

I figure at 4A draw, my battery has a 92 AH @10 Hour rating, so 4A for like 8 hours is only 32 AH... should be fine to have enough juice left to start. If not, this will be a good time to experiment, I'll have jumper cables and there are plenty of trucks around.

I've never done one before but I figured we might need something other than chicken. I was thinking of a navy bean recipe that I have. Just don't have anything t cook them in.I suppose I could get an aluminum baking pan and that would suffice.

I have 2. We do most all of our cooking in cast iron.

If we have a list of stuff, I'll be happy to buy some food to chip in, or I'll chip in some cashola. No sense in you feeding an army by yourself!

I'll bring bourbon too. And some of my home made barbecue rub. And bloody mary mix. Vodka. s***, I need to start making a list.
