Meeting at the regular place > IHOP. Think of something new for our monthly meetings because IHOP was not as friendly as they had been in the past.:p

Any talk about a trail run?

Well we talked about guns during the meeting and whether we open carry like real men during the trail runs. ROFL JK!

Let's do Sand creek pass and explore up there this weekend. Saturday, October 6 at Vern's we leave at 8am. Show up at 7am for breffas. Might be interesting up there.

Sunday long distance runs are not good for some.

Hello all,
Newbie here... I am interested in joining a Northern Colorado chapter and get involved, but really dont know how to go about doing that. I am new to Landcruisers (not Toyotas) and have recently purchased a 1977 40. I live up in Cheyenne, and have yet to meet anyone up here who owns a 40, or is interested in offroading. Any info would be great! Thanks

A decent number of people down here. And the monthly meetings are the last wednesday's of the month around 7pm. They're normally at the IHOP on Harmony Rd in Fort Collins, but there's talk of changing location. Stay tuned to the club forum for more info.

And I'm usually up to a trail run. Know most of the trails in Northern Colorado as well.

Hi Captain M! We would love to see another 40 owner join us. We're still looking for a new meeting location, but will post that up before Halloween.

Looks like the weather Saturday is going to be crappy. Let's shoot for the same times on Sunday.

Up on Deadman's there is a trail called Sand Creek that we adopted a few years ago. Basically a sand road, but with packed snow it could be fun. The trail comes out near Bull Mountain and Laramie River road. Are you in Sunday morning?

Vernons

Vern's in Laporte, just up the road from you.

:censor:

Damn. They need me to work tomorrow. Maybe next time gentlemen.

Having a breakfast burrito alone here at Vern's.....Too cold for ht club this morning.

Sand creek is a trail on the MVUM map for Canyon Lakes #336. Sand Creek is just a road that runs from the northwest side of Deadman's Road that eventually comes out on Cherokee Park road, and eventually Laramie river road.
