Here is the refurb deal on the RV.
I'll wire it to 12V (2.1mm connector), and stash the internal antenna under the dash. The slim antenna 314401 is only $25 if the big RV antenna doesn't fit.
Front Runner makes a nice fold down antenna mount RRAC168, I think I can mount this to my RTT to get it up high.

From all the reviews I read, the RV antenna was a significant improvement over the slim antenna which is why I went with the RV version. I built my own folding mount out of a scrap piece of unistrut, but most of the time I disconnect the antenna and store it inside to keep it out of the sun.

I installed my Weboost using the modified Front Runner antenna mount. I mounted the RV instde antenna in the glove box. I hardwired it with the 5.5mmx2.5mm dc plug.

Is that Front Runner antenna mount remote controlled or do you need to physically go out and hoist it?
