Bought my 87 desmogged 60 with a weber 38 on it last September and it runs like a champ. It does tend to idle high (1000 rpm) when warm so I sprayed carb cleaner around the base and it slowed way down for a second....so I have a gasket leak at the base. It has the two piece adaptor on the base so basically a total of three gaskets down there. I looked at the Manafre one piece and it sure looks a lot taller than nine. Mine measures approx 1 3/8" total rise from the manifold. Anybody use the Manafre riser ? I seem to have the factory linkage on this carb, not a cable conversion.
